Summary
MCE were engaged by RRC to undertake the Master Planning of the proposed revitalisation of Fraser Park, Mt Archer.
RRC had previously undertaken initial conceptualisation works and needed MCE’s assistance to refine the master plan and work in conjunction with Design + Architecture and their internal Landscape Architect to lead the project through to construction documentation and support. Given the sensitive environmental, and cultural nature of the site, MCE worked closely with council, sub consultants and the wider stakeholder group to deliver what has since become an award-winning tourist attraction.
Works included the large, retained amphitheatre, DDA complaint pathway access to both the amphitheatre and now famous Nurim Circuit as well as the car park redesign, drainage consideration and amenities assistance.
