Summary
On behalf of the Queensland Police Service, QBuild engaged MCE to undertake the structural inspections of police service houses. The age of the houses ranged from almost 100 years old through to approximately 50 years old. The reported assessment of each house included observations on the existing conditions of structural elements, the performance is measured against AS2870, and recommendations of the cost effectiveness to undertake any necessary repairs and/or modifications to guarantee future performance of the houses.
